The Session is a short documentary by Jeff Schroer (Stottle) on the Dallas hip-hop scene in 1995. Started as weekly freestyle party hosted by "Big" Ben Rogers and Erykah "Free" (aka Erykah Badu), The Session was originally created by Cold Chris (Mad Flava) and Ben as an informal MC meetup at Ben's home. The Session, with Erykah's help, then became the center of Dallas hip-hop for a few brief months that year.
